Zoning Permit Application


Application Notes

-Permit applications may be mailed to the Harlem Township Zoning Department, located at the rear of the Harlem Township Firehouse, at 3883 South State Route 605 Galena, OH 43021 or dropped off Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - noon. Applications may also be emailed to mcannon@harlemtwp.com.

-Please assure that you submit two hard copies of all drawings and plans to the Zoning Department.

-Payment is due at the time of submittal. Credit Card Payments & Bank checks are the only payment types accepted at this time. Checks should be made payable to Harlem Township. 

- Please submit credit card payment receipt with application

-Applications for permits are typically reviewed in the order in which they are received. Permits will not be reviewed on the spot at the time of submission. As such, same-day permit issuance cannot be guaranteed.

-Applicants must contact the Zoning Department at (740)965-2661 ext. 2, after the footprint of the project has been completed. 
i.e.) footers dug or forms built, swimming pool hole dug, poles in place for pole structure, etc.
