Our Board appointed Township Assistant Administrator, oversees the day-to-day operations of Township Trustees Office and acts as a liaison between the Township Trustees, the residents, employees and various committees. 

Biography:  

Kendra K. Borror was appointed Township Administrative Assistant to
the Trustees in January 2022 and promoted to Assistant Administrator April 2023. 

Kendra has successfully managed private businesses for over 35 years.
As Township Assistant Administrator Kendra directs the day to day operations of the township trustees office. Prior to joining Harlem Township, Kendra worked independently in managing a division of Buell Farm's multiple properties & farm operations all while fostering and working in Clinical Services for various foster care agencies through the ODJFS.  

Before offering her experience to the public sector, Kendra was a Mortgage Loan Officer, Personal Lending Specialist and the Collections Manager for the Associates Financial Services and was the General Manager for Don's Furniture. 

Kendra's family has deep roots in Harlem Township, documented back to the mid 1860's. The original family farm is from military land grant to William Henry Harrison. Prior to him becoming the 9th President and his ultimate passing away, which resulted in the land being auctioned, her family acquired the original 250 acres. Most of this farm is still in her family today.  As a life-time resident of Harlem Township, Kendra has been involved with the Harlem Hornets Cheerleaders, Harlem Hippity Hoppers 4H, Harlem Guys & Gals 4H, Harlem Township's Fireman Association Junior Auxiliary member where she assisted with the various fund raisers such as auctions, bake sales, tug 'o' wars, water battles, bingo nights, July 4th booths and the Harlem Haunted Mansion. Kendra has also assisted with the bicentennial celebration "The Old Fashion Days" hosted at K & B Acres prior to the township having a park. Kendra has since been involved with Harlem Township Heritage where she organized the 2018 HTD Kenneth Buell Memorial Auction. Kendra has also served as an Educational Surrogate for foster children with IEP's at Big Walnut and surrounding areas.  She has received various accreditations for her involvement with the founding of the Kid's Closet for children in need in Newark, OH; Christmas toy drives to benefit foster children, Women's Ministry at her local Church, Operation Christmas Child and her work with OhioSPCA animal rescue, rehab and re-homing agency. 

Kendra attended Big Walnut Local Schools K-12 and is a graduate of the Ratchford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.

Kendra and her husband Mike, have 9 children which is a mixture of biological, step and adopted children, 6 sons & 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, over 127 foster children that were fostered through her home, a talkative 7 pound Yorkie named Moses, and her regal cat Alexander Hamilton. Kendra enjoys renovating properties, camping, hiking, swimming and traveling with her family.
