Matt JaegerTrustee Jaeger

Born in Harlem Township, Matt grew to love rural life and the value of hard work on his family's small farm. This experience fostered a deep respect for being a good steward of the land. His academic journey led him to Ohio University, where he specialized in Geographic Information Systems, later earning a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Webster University. From an early age, Matt always had a dream of flying, which was realized when he commissioned as a pilot in the Air Force. Serving for 13 years, he operated a variety of aircraft, including the T-6, T-1, KC-135, C-20, C-37, and flew 228 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also had the honor of being selected to pilot Air Force 2. Currently, Matt continues to live his passion as a pilot for a major airline, while contributing his expertise to the Aviation Safety Management team. When he's not working he's usually busy cleaning out horse
stalls or playing with his dogs.
