Vice Chairman, Joni Manson, called the May 7, 2018 monthly meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Ms. Manson asked for a roll call of members.

Members Absent: Tom Nied, Mike Kabler, Alan Czako
Alternate Present: Bill Needham
Secretary: Sherrie Steele
Zoning Inspector: Jon Trainer
Public Present: None present
Commission members tabled the reading of the April 2, 2018 monthly meeting minutes as there were not enough members present this evening that were present the night of the meeting to make a motion to approve.
The minutes of the April 9, 2018 workshop meeting were tabled as there were not enough members present this evening that were present the night of the meeting to make a motion to approve.
Ms. Lobenstein asked if there were any updates on the proposed storage units on Fancher Road. The secretary stated the surrounding neighbors had obtained enough signatures to place the rezoning application on the ballot in November for referendum.
Mr. Trainer presented the Zoning Inspector report for April. There have been 33 permits issued to date for 2018. Since April 2, 2018 there were 4 permits issued for Single Family Residences, 3 for Accessory buildings, 2 for decks and one for a room addition.
Mr. Trainer stated there were at least 7 or 8 enforcement issues that needed to be dealt with since his deployment.
Commission members inquired about the O'Farrell property on State Route 605. Mr. Trainer stated a law suit has been filed and is scheduled for a court hearing. The Trustees have decided to postpone further action until the law suit is settled. Mr. Trainer stated further action would be to issue a citation for violation for running an unapproved business from the property.
Commission members discussed the 53 acres on State Route 605 North of Fancher Road, South of Hatch Road and West to Miller Paul are currently in contract.
Mr. Trainer stated he had been contacted in regards to the property behind the trailer park for a possible Car Club. Mr. Trainer will keep the Commission up to date on the property.
Ms. Manson asked if there was anything further to come before the Commission. Being nothing further at this time, Ms. Manson adjourned the May 7, 2018 monthly meeting at 8:00 p.m.
