The minutes of the April 9, 2018 workshop meeting were approved as corrected. The minutes of the May 7, 2018 monthly meeting were approved as corrected.

Mr. Kabler asked Mr. Campbell if he had anything to present to the Commission. Mr. Campbell stated he had questions from the Board of Zoning Appeals regarding the proposed language changes they had received from the secretary.

Mr. Campbell referred to section 8.04e and informed Commission members that the BZA has no control over public resources. Mr. Campbell stated the BZA advises the applicant that they need to get approval from the proper Delaware County Offices and the Board's approval of any application is contingent upon receipt of approved permits from the applicable Delaware County Offices. The Board also asks the Zoning Inspector to verify the permits are in place before issuing a Zoning Permit.

Commission members and Mr. Campbell discussed the current proposed language and made revisions. Mr. Campbell will present copies of the revised changes (Draft 6) to BZA members at their monthly meeting.

Mr. Campbell brought up the matter that the Harlem Road Church of Christ was considering replacing their existing sign with an electronic sign. Mr. Campbell stated the Commission may want to review and update the sign language in the Zoning Resolution to cover electronic signs. Commission members asked the secretary to add Sign Language to the To Do List.

Mr. Kabler asked if there was anything further to come before the Commission. Being nothing further at this time, Mr. Kabler adjourned the May 14, 2018 workshop meeting at 9:08 p.m.
